"Feeling Green...."

Having previously installed bathrooms and refurbished operating theatres and reception areas for BUPA hospital in Colney, Norwich, we were delighted when the new owners, Spire Healthcare, afforded us the opportunity to undertake new refurbishment projects in their X Ray & Ultrasound Departments along with their Sluice Rooms within an eight week time span.

What was once ‘BUPA’ Blue now became ‘Spire’ Green as the works included new;

· Carpeting
· Safety Flooring
· Changing Room Facilities
· Lighting & Electrical Services
· Suspended Ceiling Works
· Internal Decoration
· Washroom Facilities including W/C installation

Working closely with the hospital staff, the work had to be meticulously planned to ensure core services within the departments were not disrupted in any way, that the hospital remained functional at all times and so that the impact on staff & patients was negligible. We also had to consider, comply and undertake all necessary aspects of the new Health & Safety and Disability Access Regulations to ensure the new environments were suitable for all.

The finished results were practical yet modern, soft yet striking, completed on time and within budget and totally befitting to their new corporate identity.
