What do you do when the biggest communications company in the world awards your small Norwich based company the project to design the interior of their new prestigious office in Cambridge?

That is the question we at Hemera had to answer when Qualcomm, one of the top ten global NASDAQ companies, chose us over 11 other national high profile competitors, to work on their project.

The brief was vast, the solution was bespoke and the timelines involved gave all of Hemera’s team an opportunity to prove how well we could work together under pressure.

Working closely with representatives from Qualcomm, we were able to design an environment that was innovative, creative and stunning.

Incorporating everything from suspended ceilings, air conditioning, lighting, structured cabling, glass partitioning, the colour of the paint on the walls to installing the desk top services, large kitchen areas, video conferencing and flooring throughout. It was a Goliath project for a David size business, all achieved within a six and a half week time span.

It was then, upon approaching completion, we were engaged to arrange the relocation of their entire workforce from their existing office into their new building.

The move was arranged and completed seamlessly and the continuity of operation was not affected.

Since completing the project, Qualcomm has received positive feedback on their new spacious working environment from employees, clients and service providers alike.

We are proud of the strong relationship we have built with Qualcomm over the past few years – and as a result, we now take responsibility for all their facilities management and continuing interior developments in the Cambridge Office.
