Never one to shy away from a challenge, we at Hemera were excited when we were awarded the project for the prestigious new Head Office of Millard Consulting in Norwich.

Millard Consulting are renowned and established throughout the local Norfolk and Suffolk area, after working on a number of major local projects including the Broadland Business Park in Norwich, whilst also being main players in ventures throughout the UK, with additional regional offices in Scotland, London and The Midlands.

Their chosen site, The Atrium in St George’s Street, is renowned for being one of the most unusual buildings designed in Norwich - and it certainly presented us with a few challenges which required innovative ideas and solutions – if we were going to bring the interior into the new millennium.

Working closely with the team at Millard, we were able to visualize their ideas and aspirations, and designed an environment that was welcoming, fresh, modern and inspirational.

The main areas of refurbishment included a new suspended ceiling, flooring, lighting, structured cabling, electrical installation, a total revamp of the toilet blocks and complete internal redecoration throughout.

It was however, the introduction of glazed and solid partitioning, reception desk and a new café style breakout area, which turned the interior from not just impressive but to something truly inspiring, totally befitting of the prestige and reputation of Millard Consulting.

Looking at the finished article now, it is incredible to see our joint vision as a very real and very exciting reality.

Not bad for a 4 week time span!
